Job summary

Valmet in Sundsvall is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join the Biomass Conversion and Mechanical Fiber team. You will support delivery of engineering, equipment, and lifecycle services to pulp & paper customers, developing heat and mass balances, process concepts, and tailored solutions that create lasting value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience as a process engineer in the pulping industry or similar.
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and meet deadlines.
• Ability to balance technical skills with relationship-building.
• Excellent English skills, written and spoken.
