Job summary

Sway Sourcing Sweden Aktiebolag is seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant for a long-term assignment in Stockholm. You will contribute to financial accounting, regulatory reporting, and group reporting in a complex, international environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role requires strong IFRS expertise for financial institutions, hedge accounting experience, and the ability to manage reporting activities independently while coordinating with auditors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior accounting or financial reporting experience in banking.
• Strong knowledge of Swedish regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience reporting to Finansinspektionen, Riksbanken and SCB.
• Advanced IFRS knowledge for financial institutions.
• Experience with hedge accounting and financial instruments.
• Experience with international group reporting and consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support financial accounting and reporting in a regulated financial environment.
• Prepare and coordinate regulatory reporting to Swedish authorities (Finansinspektionen, Riksbanken, SCB).
• Ensure IFRS compliance and application for financial institutions.
• Work with hedge accounting and reporting of financial instruments.
• Contribute to group reporting, consolidation and financial closing.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
