Job summary

ASSA ABLOY AB’s Stockholm team is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and evolve cloud-based services for the Vostio hospitality platform. You’ll own core functionality from design through production, focusing on access, permissions, and identity management in a cloud-native, AWS-driven environment.

You will work with a small, high-impact team, collaborating with Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver scalable APIs and integrations that connect hotels, customers, and internal

Qualifications

• Experience building backend systems in Kotlin, Java, or Golang.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying and operating solutions in AWS.
• Experience with microservice-based, distributed, or integration-heavy systems, including strong API design skills.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices.
• The ability to simplify complex technical problems, communicate clearly, and take ownership of outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve cloud-based services powering digital access, permissions, and identity management.
• Develop features enabling hotels to manage access rights and user identities from design to production.
• Create and evolve APIs, integrations, and microservice capabilities across the hospitality ecosystem.
• Design cloud-native solutions on AWS with scalable, resilient services and CI/CD practices.
• Participate in technical design discussions, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
