Job summary

AeroVect is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design and implement behavior planning systems for autonomous ground operations. You will own modules in the planning stack, balancing mission goals with motion execution in dynamic airside environments.

The role involves multi-agent considerations, rule-based and learned decision-making, and close collaboration with the autonomy team to deliver a market-defining enterprise product.

Qualifications

• Proficient in modern C++ and Python for development and testing.
• Experience with behavior planning in autonomous systems.
• Master's degree and 3+ years in robotics/autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced behavior planning algorithms for autonomous vehicles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust integration of planning systems.
• Design and maintain scalable C++/Python codebases.
• Contribute to architecture and continuous improvement of behavior planning software.
• Test algorithms in simulated and real-world scenarios; analyze performance.
