Job summary

Actrify in Gothenburg is building a Test Team that supports automotive software test organizations and test infrastructure environments in Gothenburg. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the infrastructure and tools that these teams depend on.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, Python scripting, and collaboration with embedded engineers and system specialists. Fluency in English is required; Swedish is a plus.

Qualifications

• MSc/BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or related field.
• 5–12 years of experience in automotive test infrastructure or test systems.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software and networks.
• Proficiency in Python and Linux, plus CI/CD experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot automotive test rigs, ECU benches, Car-box setups, and HIL/SIL/ViL environments.
• Diagnose hardware, software, network, and configuration issues using logs and diagnostic tools.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts and automation utilities to improve reliability.
• Configure and troubleshoot tools including Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, dSPACE SCALEXIO, ControlDesk, AutomationDesk.
• Support MATLAB/Simulink-based simulation environments and test configurations.
• Verify infrastructure and automation after software updates and tool releases.
• Analyze vehicle communication and diagnostics (CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, UDS).
• Support test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, ECU flashing, OTA activities.
• Document incidents, root causes, troubleshooting procedures, corrective actions.
• Collaborate with test engineers, embedded software developers, system specialists, and infrastructure owners.
