Job summary
Intellias in Gothenburg, Sweden is seeking a Senior Manual QA Engineer to ensure high-quality automotive software across markets. You will design and execute manual test cases, work with Jira/Xray, and drive field tests using real vehicles, with travel to test sites as needed.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of manual QA experience in automotive domains, strong SDLC/Agile knowledge, and hands-on testing of IVI, navigation, OTA, ADAS and device integration.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of manual QA testing experience in software products.
- Automotive domain exposure with IVI, navigation, OTA and ADAS validation.
- Experience creating and executing test cases and reporting results.
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual verification and validation of Automotive solutions for European markets.
- Design, implement, and execute test cases covering diverse scenarios and regions.
- Drive test plans and test suites with priority from Test Manager/Test Lead.
- Record traces and provide time markers for defect analysis.
- Identify, report, and help resolve issues with development teams.
- Conduct manual testing in real-world environments to simulate customer use cases.
- Collaborate with QA engineers and cross-functional teams on overall strategy.
- Participate in business trips as requested by the client.
