Job summary

Accenture is seeking an Automotive Embedded Software Verification Engineer for on-site work in Gothenburg. The role blends on-site customer support with hands-on embedded software testing across SIL, HiL, and ViL environments to ensure software quality.

You will write automated tests, analyze results, and collaborate with SW developers to debug issues, while supporting vehicle testing and technical workshops at client facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded software testing (SIL, HIL, ViL) and customer-facing roles.
• Proficiency in C++ and embedded systems knowledge.
• Strong Python-based test automation with Pytest.
• Understanding of ECU architecture and embedded platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows using GitHub & GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain automated test cases using a Pytest-based framework.
• Test across components, integration and system levels.
• Execute and debug tests in SIL, HIL and ViL environments.
• Analyze test results, logs and data to identify defects.
• Debug issues in collaboration with software developers.
• Maintain test data, configurations and parameterization.
• Serve as on-site technical liaison and support customer vehicle testing.
• Facilitate rapid issue identification and feedback to development teams.
• Provide hands-on support for software flashing and configurations.
