Job summary
A growing System Engineering and Solution Company in Stockholms län is seeking a Senior Software Tester to lead software test activities in global scrum teams. Candidates should have extensive experience in automation testing and a strong understanding of software development lifecycle. The position allows 4 days on-site and 1 day remote work, with an engagement period running from immediate to June 2026.
Qualifications
- At least 6 years of work experience as a software test engineer or equivalent role.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Experience from either software, hardware or system testing in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with medical/in-vitro-diagnostic equipment and associated software.
- Extensive experience with automation testing and tools.
- Ability to write automation Python scripts.
- Experience in Requirement analysis, Test Design, Test Execution, and Defect tracking.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB is desired.
Responsibilities
- Work in global scrum teams to develop testing materials.
- Build Test Plans and Test Cases; document issues and verify defect resolutions.
- Author test documents and status reports.
- Communicate status and issues to functional teams.
- Evaluate and accept Requirements.
- Participate in project planning and progress tracking.
