Job summary

Sandvik is seeking an experienced software/integration engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise integrations and APIs in production. You will operate across the PA Engineering Platforms Integration team, delivering secure, observable, and scalable solutions.

You will contribute to standardized patterns, automation, and reusable components while collaborating with architects, platform engineers and product stakeholders. English communication is required for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining APIs and integrations in production.
• Strong programming skills in C#, with Bash/PowerShell for deployment and automation.
• Knowledge of REST, messaging, asynchronous flows and event-driven integration patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization, observability, resilience and security controls.
• Ability to communicate in English and work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop production-ready APIs and integrations using synchronous, asynchronous, messaging and event-driven patterns.
• Build integration logic, APIs and automation components in C#, supported by Bash or PowerShell scripting.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code for repeatable deployments.
• Implement guardrails for authentication, authorization, secrets, certificates, networking, logging and monitoring.
• Own live integrations in production, including troubleshooting and performance improvements.
• Convert delivery learnings into reusable templates and clear technical documentation.
