Job summary

PostNord in Sweden seeks a senior Android developer to join our team, building native Android apps with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVVM and MVI, leveraging Google Cloud Platform services. The role involves collaboration across product and engineering to deliver scalable mobile solutions for our retail and servicepoint network in the Nordics.

You will work in a flexible hybrid environment, contributing to the modernization of our mobile tools and improving user experiences at PostNord locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in Native Android development.
• Significant experience programming for the Android platform, using Kotlin.
• Experience in Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Firebase Analytics, Realtime Database and Remote Config.
• Experience in Jetpack Compose, MVVM and MVI architecture patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop native Android apps using Kotlin and modern architectures.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to solve complex requirements.

Who you are

You are a senior Android developer with a passion for teamwork. While striving for optimisation and simplification, you tackle complex business requirements with technical practises and problem-solving skills. By leading with humility and curiosity, you also empower your fellow team members in their own technical development. You are used to the challenges that modern computing platforms bring such as asynchronous programming and are comfortable with the reactive programming paradigm.

• BSc degree in Engineering and minimum 5 years of work experience in Native Android development
• Significant experience programming for the Android platform, using Kotlin
• Experience in Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Firebase Analytics, Realtime Database and Remote Config
• Experience in Jetpack Compose, MVVM and MVI architecture patterns
