Job summary

Pihr, a European pay equity software company, seeks a Senior AI-first UX Designer to shape the user experience of the pay equity platform used by HR professionals across more than 50 countries.

You will lead with a strong visual eye, harness AI tools to iterate quickly, and collaborate closely with product and engineering to translate complex regulatory requirements into intuitive interfaces. Start: November 2026; location: Stockholm office, in-office 3 days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience designing digital products.
• Degree in User Interface Design or equivalent work experience.
• Experience designing for B2B SaaS software, ideally data-heavy or compliance-driven.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As our Senior AI-first UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of Pihr's pay equity platform - software trusted by HR professionals and executives in more than 50 countries to make fair, compliant pay decisions.

We are building an AI-first product organization, and design is at the heart of it. You are a strong hands-on designer with a great visual eye and a high bar for quality. You are genuinely skilled at creating high-quality digital interfaces and turning complex problems into experiences that feel simple, trustworthy, and even enjoyable.

You will work hands-on with modern AI-driven design tools to move from idea to high-fidelity, testable prototypes at a pace traditional design workflows can't match. You use AI as an important part of your design process to explore, create and iterate faster, and you stay curious about new tools and possibilities as they emerge.

You will collaborate closely with product management and engineering in a lightweight, fast-moving process, translating complex regulatory requirements and data-heavy workflows into intuitive, well-crafted solutions.

Your daily work will include discovery and user research with HR professionals across Europe, rapid AI-assisted prototyping and iteration, hands-on interaction and visual design, evolving our design system, and contributing to high UX quality throughout the product - from the first sketch to what ships.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Strong design craft and visual eye – you are genuinely skilled at creating high-quality digital products and have a strong sense for layout, hierarchy, typography, interaction and visual detail.
• Strong UX and product thinking – you can turn complex user needs and problems into simple, intuitive experiences.
• Strong AI capabilities – you use AI confidently to explore, create, prototype and iterate faster while maintaining a high design standard.
• Curious and continuously learning – you keep up with new AI capabilities and evolve how you work as the technology develops.
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing digital products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating both UX thinking and high-quality design execution.
• Experience of designing for B2B SaaS software, ideally involving data-rich or compliance-driven products.
• Degree in User Interface Design or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English – you can present, argue for, and document design decisions with clarity in both languages.
• Curious, pragmatic, and collaborative; you're both an individual contributor and a team player who thrives when working closely with engineers and product managers.
