EPAM Systems in Gothenburg seeks a Senior Agentic AI Architect/Consultant to shape L1 architecture and consolidate inputs from vendors. You will steer workshops, embed Safe Agent principles, and deliver a cohesive target architecture that supports AI ambitions with speed.

The role requires an enterprise posture with hands-on experience in agentic AI, Azure Foundry, and MCP patterns, plus proven vendor coordination across SAP, Salesforce and ServiceNow ecosystems.

Automotive and manufacturing clients face the challenge of integrating agentic AI architecture across complex enterprise platforms. The program depends on daily tactical decisions that drive strategic goals, requiring close coordination with digital excellence leads and product teams.In this hybrid Senior Agentic AI Architect/Consultant role based in Gothenburg, you will operate independently to shape L1 architecture and consolidate inputs from multiple vendors and consultancies.You will steer workshops that close decisions quickly and embed safe agent principles into delivery. The work matters because clients need a coherent, actionable architecture that supports their AI ambitions without delay.ResponsibilitiesFinalise the L1 agentic architecture and define each layer concretely in terms of L1 capabilitiesConsolidate prior scale-and-deploy work (Agent Studio) with the existing layer model, resolving overlaps into a single coherent viewMake the architecture layers actionable, including how each capability is realised in Azure AI Foundry and the MCP gatewayCollaborate closely with foundational product teamsRapidly develop positions on SAP, Salesforce and ServiceNow as agentic runtimes, and how each fits the North Star architectureLead structured conversations with vendors to establish what they provide and where they sit in the target architectureDrive the work needed to embed the three agreed Safe Agent principles into the architecture and delivery approachDesign and run decision-focused workshops that bring the right people together and close decisions in a single sessionGuide the existing team, produce supporting materials, and get deliverables to the finish lineAlign stakeholders and bring decisions to closureRequirementsSenior enterprise or solution architecture background, with recent hands-on agentic AI architecture experienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, MCP and agent orchestration patternsFamiliarity with agentic capabilities across SAP, Salesforce or ServiceNowTrack record of synthesising work from multiple consultancies and vendors into one target architectureExperience facilitating senior architecture forums and driving them to decisionsExposure to large, federated enterprise clients (automotive or manufacturing a plus)Credibility at senior level, with willingness to get into detail and do the workSelf-directed, delivery-oriented and able to constructively challenge strong client architectsNice to haveExperience in automotive or manufacturing sectorsWe offerEPAM Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Company’s pension planPrivate healthcare insuranceSafety & life insuranceGym discountsWellness Grant (SEK 2000)Corporate Programs including Employee Referral Program with rewardsLearning and development opportunities including in-house training and coaching, professional certifications, and courses
