Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Lead Agentic AI Architect in Gothenburg, Sweden, with a hybrid model (3 days on client site). You will shape enterprise L1 architecture, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive critical decisions with leadership, including the Head of Digital Excellence.

You will embed governance, scale AI frameworks, and work across SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceNow as agentic runtimes. The role demands credibility, strategic vision, and hands-on execution for large enterprises.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise or solution architecture.
• Hands-on design and deployment of agentic AI architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce and ServiceNow.
• Proven synthesis of architectural work from multiple consultancies into a single target architecture.
• Experience facilitating senior architecture forums and cross-functional decisions.
• Exposure to large federated enterprise clients; automotive/manufacturing a plus.
• Executive credibility with willingness to dive into technical execution.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage the L1/2/3 architecture and define each layer concretely for agentic priority capabilities.
• Consolidate scale-and-deploy frameworks with existing models, resolving overlaps into a coherent target view.
• Lead workshops and vendor discussions to position offerings in the target architecture.
• Embed safety, governance and compliance principles into architecture and delivery.
• Collaborate with Head of Digital Excellence and product teams to drive decisions to closure.
