Job summary

HCLTech in Gothenburg is seeking an ADAS System Designer to drive the development of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Active Safety functions in automotive projects. You will translate customer and feature requirements into robust system solutions, defining architecture and interfaces, and ensuring safety considerations are integrated.

The role collaborates with software, verification, sensor, platform, UX, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity teams to deliver traceable, testable system

Qualifications

• Required degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in ADAS/Active Safety or autonomous driving systems.
• Knowledge of system design and requirements engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ADAS/Active Safety solutions from concept to implementation.
• Define system architecture, requirements, interfaces and signal dependencies.
• Collaborate with software, verification, sensor, platform, UX and safety teams.
• Support reviews, risk assessments, and implementation follow-up.
• Ensure traceable and testable system requirements and design docs.
