Svea Solar Utility is expanding its finance team and seeks a Senior Accountant to join our standalone entity. You will manage bookkeeping for multiple legal entities, oversee monthly closes, and contribute to the group and consolidation reporting.

The role offers a hybrid work setup with opportunities to influence processes and leverage AI to drive efficiency. You will work in English and Swedish, collaborating with a diverse team and supporting the transition as SSU evolves independently under

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a senior accounting role.
• Experience working with Swedish GAAP K3.
• Thorough understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Experience developing and implementing new routines and processes. Proficient in business communication in both English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping for assigned business units within Svea Solar Utility and ensure accurate monthly close.
• Ensure timely monthly and year-end close and reporting.
• Prepare monthly group reporting and quarterly consolidated reporting.
• Perform detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Conduct P&L analysis and accruals.
• Handle VAT reconciliations, filings and EU reporting.
• Assist with annual reports and audits.
• Act as bank access administrator and monitor liquidity.
• Participate in process improvements and AI initiatives.
• Handle ad-hoc projects in a fast-paced finance department.
