Job summary

Svea Solar Utility (SSU) is a growing Swedish solar IPP recently separated from Svea Solar Group and now financed to expand across multiple entities and large-scale projects. As a Senior Accountant you will own bookkeeping for assigned business units and help drive monthly closes and group reporting.

You will work across intercompany transactions and a lean team, with opportunities to influence processes and reporting while exploring AI-enabled improvements in finance.

Qualifications

• Senior accounting experience with Swedish GAAP K3
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards
• Experience creating and implementing new routines and processes

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping for assigned business units and support annual reports
• Ensure timely monthly and year-end close
• Prepare monthly group reporting and quarterly consolidated reporting
• Confirm balance sheet accuracy through detailed reconciliations
• P&L analysis and accruals
• VAT reconciliations, filings and EU reporting
• Participate in audits and process improvements, including AI initiatives
