Job summary

Legora is recruiting a Senior Accountant to scale the accounting function. You will own critical close processes, partner with Finance leadership, and deliver accurate, timely financial information in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll oversee monthly closes, manage multiple accounting areas, and help build an audit-ready foundation while improving controls and automation. Prior IFRS/K3 experience and multi-entity exposure are valuable.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth environments.
• Experience in a technology or startup environment.
• Knowledge of IFRS or K3 and multi-entity consolidation.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to own end-to-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage key aspects of monthly and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis.
• Manage assigned accounting areas (cash, accruals, payroll, fixed assets, revenue balances).
• Prepare financial analyses and reporting packages for Finance leadership and FP&A.
• Partner with FP&A to align accounting results with forecasts and business drivers.
• Improve and automate close processes, internal controls, and reporting workflows.
• Maintain compliance with global tax requirements (indirect, direct, transfer pricing).
• Support audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Collaborate across functions to support business initiatives and accurate reporting.
