Job summary

Renault Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage bookkeeping, serve as the accounting interface between HQ, regulatory reporting and consolidation, and coordinate with the Accounting IS/IT Teams and MFS Nordic. The role supports developing and integrating new accounting software (VISMA & SAP), leads monthly closings and reconciliations, and ensures adherence to group and local accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Handling the bookkeeping of the company (following defined accounting scheme or implementing new accounting scheme corresponding to new business area / products)
• Being the accounting interface between HQ accounting, regulatory reporting & consolidation and Accounting IS/IT Teams and MFS Nordic on ongoing & ad-hoc topics
• Supporting the development and integration of new accounting software systems (VISMA & SAP)
• Helping in the implementation of the Group and Local accounting principles and support the compliance work, responsible of accounting Operational Risks together with other team members.
• Closing work according to PERT file: organizing workload and securing all tasks are assigned, performed and have an operational back-up
• Monthly reconciliations: supervise work and completion of own scope
• Monthly closure and consolidation into the group consolidation software (Magnitude)
• Monthly SURFI reporting to HQ
• External regulatory reporting toward local or Central authorities (Central Bank)
• VAT (SE, NO, DK) and EU VAT declarations
• Annual report preparation & validation with the external auditors and local contributors
• Should be able to support or substitute the other team members on accounting matters if needed during the monthly closure
• Support and cooperate during external and internal audits
