Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co. is seeking a Manager, National Accounting Sweden, Finland & Norway to lead statutory accounting and tax compliance across three countries. You will coordinate with external auditors, ensure compliance with local regulations and US GAAP, and support EMEA finance functions.

The role reports to the EMEA NAC Director and involves leading NAC teams in Sweden, Finland, and Norway. Travel and strong leadership are expected to drive improvements and maintain robust controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years in finance, including tax and general accounting.
• Experience in statutory accounting, tax compliance, and audit coordination.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; advanced degree or professional qualification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver statutory financial statements.
• Coordinate and act as main contact for external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with local and US GAAP accounting standards.
• Corporate income tax reporting and annual income tax returns; main contact for tax authorities and support audits.
• Ensure VAT compliance and oversee VAT reporting.
• Submit US Tax Packages and support Transfer Pricing documentation.
• Contribute to SOX compliance in accounting processes and manage controls.
• Maintain legal and corporate documentation for Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian entities.
• Support Brno Shared Service Center and EMEA teams.
• Improve accounting processes and implement corrective actions; participate in finance improvement projects.
• Lead NAC teams in Sweden, Finland and Norway.

Overview

Manager, National Accounting Sweden, Finland & Norway: you will lead statutory accounting and tax compliance for all entities in your responsibility area, ensuring adherence to local regulations and US GAAP standards. You will be the main contact for external auditors and tax authorities, while supporting PPG EMEA functions such as Tax, Treasury and Controllership.

Responsibilities

Team Structure

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years in finance, including tax and general accounting.
• Experience in statutory accounting, tax compliance, and audit coordination.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (advanced degree or professional qualification is an advantage).
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, with the ability to conduct business communication on a daily professional level.
• Be in the office in Stockholm at least 3 days per week.
