Job summary

Telavox is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to embed security into our platform, enabling engineers to ship safer software at scale. You will partner with the Security Engineering Lead to drive secure defaults, tooling, and standards across product and platform teams, bridging CISO strategy and day-to-day engineering reality.

You will work at Telavox’s engineering execution layer, building shared tooling, and driving secure-by-default patterns in CI/CD, while translating risks into concrete,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software/platform engineering, DevOps, or related role.
• Experience with security tooling and understanding trade-offs beyond installation.
• Experience building shared tooling, standards, or paved roads adopted by other teams.
• Teaching and enabling mindset: sharing knowledge and leaving capability behind.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and translate security risks into practical work.
• Fluent English; Swedish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define secure defaults and paved roads for teams to follow in CI/CD.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to adopt security improvements.
• Manage vulnerability processes and ensure findings are fixed.
• Translate customer/audit risk into concrete engineering work.
• Coordinate responses to emerging threats and drive issues to resolution.
• Share ownership of the security roadmap with the lead engineer.
