Job summary

Westernacher Consulting in Sweden seeks an experienced SAP TM architect to lead end-to-end logistics transformation projects across international environments. You will design SAP Transportation Management solutions and own architecture decisions across multiple work streams.

You will mentor consultants, support pre-sales activities, and collaborate with C-level stakeholders. Fluency in English and Swedish, strong communication, and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9–10+ years of relevant experience in SAP Transportation Management.
• Proven track record in leading complex SAP transformation projects.
• Functional and/or technical proficiency with at least 4 full-cycle SAP implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of end-to-end SAP solution architectures based on SAP TM.
• Translate business strategies and transformation goals into scalable, integrated SAP solution designs.
• Own solution architecture decisions across projects, ensuring alignment with best practices, standards, and long-term roadmap.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, including C‑level executives, and guide them through solution options and trade-offs.
• Lead and mentor consultants and developers, ensuring solution quality and consistency across work streams.
• Support pre-sales activities, including solution architecture design, estimations, and client presentations.

Job description

You work on SAP consulting projects focused on logistics and transportation, designing and implementing solutions based on SAP Transportation Management. You take ownership of defined work streams and contribute to high‑quality, end‑to‑end SAP implementations in international project environments. You collaborate closely with customers and project teams to translate business needs into robust SAP solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the design of end-to-end SAP solution architectures based on SAP TM
• Translate business strategies and transformation goals into scalable, integrated SAP solution designs
• Own solution architecture decisions across projects, ensuring alignment with best practices, standards, and long-term roadmap
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, including C‑level executives, and guide them through solution options and trade-offs
• Lead and mentor consultants and developers, ensuring solution quality and consistency across work streams
• Support pre-sales activities, including solution architecture design, estimations, and client presentations

Your Skills And Experience

• Minimum 9–10+ years of relevant experience in SAP Transportation Management
• Proven track record in leading complex SAP transformation projects
• Functional and/or technical proficiency with at least 4 full-cycle SAP implementations
• Strong cross-module expertise to design robust end-to‑end logistics solutions
• Strong configuration and solution design skills with a holistic architectural mindset
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, including C‑level interaction
• Experience working across multiple industries with a good understanding of logistics and transportation processes
• Strong experience in pre‑sales and business development activities
• Strategic thinking combined with strong project and solution leadership capabilities
• SAP certifications in TM are an advantage
• Experience in Public Cloud is an advantage
• Experience with SAP’s integration and transformation toolchain, such as Signavio, LeanIX, SAP Cloud ALM, and WalkMe
• Strong commitment to knowledge sharing, mentoring, and building organizational capabilities
• Designs AI-enabled SAP solutions conceptually (e.g. process automation, embedded AI, analytics)
• Evaluates AI use cases, risks, and governance with customers
