Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking an experienced professional to own SAP licensing governance, optimization, and audit readiness. You will work across procurement, finance, IT, and suppliers to ensure compliance, cost efficiency, and alignment with business needs.

You will lead license consumption metering, policy development, and data‑driven optimization while maintaining contract repositories and supporting audits and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Experience in license management for SAP software products and services.
• Knowledge of SAP licensing principles and contractual aspects.
• Hands-on experience with SAP audit processes.
• Experience with SAM tools and software asset governance.
• Experience in a global context with cross‑cultural awareness.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong end-to-end ownership and proactive mindset.
• Fluency in English and university degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage license consumption metering processes for products in scope (licenses, software, consumption-based, etc.).
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with SAP licensing terms and conditions.
• Identify potential compliance gaps or risks and take actions to rectify them.
• Develop and implement license usage policies to optimize utilization and align with business needs.
• Analyze license usage data to identify optimization opportunities and strategies.
• Maintain a centralized repository of SAP license contracts, POs, and invoices.
• Support software procurement and ensure alignment with Volvo Group policies.
• Act as the main contact during external audits and vendor dialogues.
