Job summary

Sanoma Learning seeks an experienced SAP BTP Integration Suite Architect to design and oversee cloud-based integration strategies across SAP and non-SAP systems. You will focus on API management, security, and real-time data exchange to enable a clean core for SAP S/4HANA by integrating extensions and external apps.

In this remote, permanent role, you will lead implementation, enforce governance, and drive migration from legacy platforms such as SAP PO, collaborating with a multinational team

Qualifications

• Formal Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP Integration Suite, CPI, Event Mesh, API Management and related areas.
• Experience with SAP PO migration and cloud-native Integration Suite projects.
• Experience integrating SaaS and in-house apps, not only SAP-to-SAP.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Design: Define overall integration architecture for cloud-to-cloud, on-premise-to-cloud and B2B scenarios.
• Implementation Leadership: Guide development of iFlows using BPMN-style tools within SAP Integration Suite.
• Technology Expertise: Leverage SAP Integration Suite capabilities like Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, API Management and pre-built content.
• Governance & Best Practices: Establish standards for security (OAuth2, certificates) and monitoring.
• Drive migration from legacy systems (e.g., SAP PO) to the cloud-native Integration Suite.

You connect diverse SAP & non-SAP systems using tools like SAP Integration Suite (iPaaS) for streamlined, event-driven architectures (EDA), focusing on API management, security and pre-built content. You also modernize integration from older platforms, like SAP PO, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient data flow across enterprises.This role is crucial for building modern, agile, and composable enterprises by enabling real-time data exchange, supporting digital transformation, and creating a \"clean core\" for SAP S/4HANA by integrating extensions and external apps.Key responsibilities:Strategy & Design : Define overall integration architecture, aligning IT with business goals, using best practices for cloud-to-cloud, on-premise-to-cloud, and B2B scenarios.Implementation Leadership : Guide the development of integration flows (iFlows) using visual, BPMN-style tools within the Suite.Technology Expertise : Leverage SAP Integration Suite capabilities, including Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, API Management, and pre-built content from the API Business Hub.Governance & Best Practices : Establish standards for integration, security (OAuth2, certificates), and monitoring.Drive migration from legacy systems (like SAP PO) to the cloud-native Integration Suite.Formal QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business, IT or other related fieldAt least 5 years of relevant experience, from areas such as:SAP Integration Suite : Cloud Integration (CPI), Event Mesh, API Management, OpenConnectors.Integration Patterns : Request-driven (SOAP, REST, OData) and Event-Driven (EDA) architectures.Programming : Groovy/JavaScript for custom logic.Security : Implementing robust authentication and authorization.Migration experience: hands-on experience moving from SAP PO (or comparable legacy middleware) to a cloud-native integration platform.Non-SAP integration: experience integrating SaaS and in-house applications, not only SAP-to-SAP.Experience from a multinational, matrix organisation.Experience managing system vendors and external consultants, acting as the client representative.Fluency in English, writing as well as speaking.SAP certifications in Integration Suite / BTP are considered a strong merit.Keys to SuccessStrong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.Ability to communicate at all levels and to influence without formal mandate.Agile and able to switch between strategic challenges and more operational delivery.We offerWe offer you a key position with stimulating and challenging tasks, providing a comprehensive view of the Sanoma Group and excellent opportunities for professional growth.
