Position Overview

As the Sales Team Leader for DACH Mid-Market, you will lead a team of Account Executives focused on acquiring and growing mid-market customers in the DACH region. Your role combines hands-on leadership, coaching, and performance management with direct collaboration on strategic deals. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the team’s culture, optimising sales processes, and achieving ambitious revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Mid-Market Account Executives, ensuring they consistently meet and exceed targets.
  • Drive new business acquisition and expansion opportunities within the DACH mid-market segment and supporting outbound sales activities.
  • Partner with Account Management, Marketing, and Customer Success to maximise pipeline generation and conversion.
  • Build and optimise sales processes and best practices tailored to the DACH market.
  • Actively participate in complex sales cycles, supporting AEs in negotiations and closing high-value deals (averaging €20k).
  • Analyse performance metrics and provide accurate sales forecasting.
  • Represent Dealfront at industry events.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-centric team culture.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop sales talent to support business growth.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in B2B SaaS sales leadership within the DACH mid-market segment.
  • Strong expertise in outbound sales processes, including prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline management.
  • Native-level German (C2) and fluent English communication skills.
  • Strong people management and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and drive results.
  • Have an existing network within the DACH region.
  • Experience leading teams in a remote-first or distributed environment.
  • Deep understanding of the DACH business landscape and buying behaviours.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong forecasting, reporting, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A growth-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
