Job summary

Knowit Connectivity in Lund is seeking an embedded software engineer for automotive systems demanding timing, safety and reliability. You will develop C and C++ software close to the OS (RTOS/Linux/QNX), collaborating with systems, hardware, and testing teams to ensure end-to-end functionality and quality.

You will influence architecture and technical direction on ADAS, electrification, and connected vehicles.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in embedded software development or automotive software.
• Solid knowledge of C and C++.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems and low-level behavior.
• Experience with RTOS, Linux, QNX or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop safety-critical embedded software in C and C++.
• Work close to the OS using RTOS, Linux, or QNX.
• Debug and optimize systems with timing/resource constraints.
• Collaborate with systems, testers and hardware teams to ensure end-to-end functionality.
• Contribute to software architecture, technical decisions, testing and quality assurance.
