Job summary

Accenture Industry X in Gothenburg is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with proven automotive experience to design, develop and maintain embedded software powering next-generation vehicle platforms.

You will write in C/C++ for embedded targets, work with Linux or QNX, and collaborate across teams to ensure performance, reliability, and safety in complex vehicle networks. This role offers strong development opportunities, mentorship, and global project exposure.

Qualifications

• Automotive embedded software experience essential, production/series background preferred.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ in embedded contexts.
• Hands-on knowledge of in-vehicle networks and integration.
• Experience with QNX or Embedded Linux environments.
• Solid debugging skills near hardware constraints (memory, timing, performance).
• Nice-to-have: Android Automotive, AUTOSAR Adaptive, Hypervisor, SOME/IP.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software components across the product lifecycle (design → implementation → testing → release).
• Implement robust, efficient features in C/C++ for embedded targets.
• Work with Embedded Linux or QNX environments depending on platform needs.
• Contribute to system integration and debugging, including performance and stability improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into high-quality embedded solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and support quality practices (unit/integration testing, defect triage).
