Job summary

Spotify is seeking Research Scientists to join the Artist-First AI Music Lab. You will conduct groundbreaking research in generative audio, focusing on diffusion or flow matching models to advance listening experiences for artists and fans.

You will run large-scale experiments, collaborate with scientists, engineers, PMs, designers, and researchers, and publish findings to share knowledge with the broader community.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• Publications at leading conferences in relevant areas.
• Strong coding skills in Python, PyTorch, NumPy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct groundbreaking research in generative audio using diffusion or flow matching models.
• Run large-scale experiments with access to Spotify’s infrastructure and audience.
• Publish findings, deliver talks, and participate in top conferences.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of scientists, engineers, PMs, designers, user researchers, and analysts.
