Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Site Budget & Contract Lead to manage budgeting and contracting activities for clinical trial sites across the country. This remote, permanent role emphasizes timely contract execution, startup forecasts, and collaboration with Study Startup, SB&C, and Clinical Operations teams to resolve escalations.

The candidate will lead budgeting strategies, negotiate budgets and CTAs, and ensure sites are ready to enroll by managing timelines and parameters.

Qualifications

• BS degree or international equivalent with 4+ years in clinical research site contracting and budgeting.
• At least 2 years of site budgeting and contracting oversight.
• Ability to explain data and facilitate data-driven decisions.
• Expertise in country/site budgeting and contracting strategies.
• Excellent organizational, decision making, communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in local language and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned country SB&C function to develop, negotiate, administrate and execute Clinical Trial Agreements and budgets.
• Oversee country budget setup including parameters development.
• Escalate global budget issues with Study Startup, SB&C, and Clinical Ops teams when outside parameters.
• Use industry tools and data sources to provide budget and contract feedback aligned with company value guidance.
• Ensure site readiness to enroll by managing contract and budget timelines.
