ALTEN in Sweden seeks an Experienced Java Backend Developer to join a Cloud & Software Engineering team delivering robust, scalable backend services for international clients. You will develop backend services in Java (Spring Boot), build cloud-native AWS solutions, and contribute to scalable microservices while ensuring high code quality and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of backend development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot).
Experience working with AWS.
Azure experience is a strong advantage.
Experience building customer-facing systems.
Experience with AWS serverless services such as Lambda and DynamoDB is considered a plus.
BSc/MSc in Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Java.
Build and optimize cloud-native solutions in AWS.
Contribute to scalable microservices architectures.
Ensure high code quality, testability, and maintainability.
Collaborate closely with developers, platform engineers, architects, and product teams.
