Job summary

Cognicatus AB is seeking an Analog and Mixed-signal Layout Engineer to transform complex circuit designs into high-performance silicon. You will lead full-custom layout of high-speed analog and mixed-signal blocks in cutting-edge nodes and collaborate closely with circuit designers to ensure robust physical implementations.

Based in Linköping, Sweden, this role can be done remotely; the key is the work, not the location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full-custom analog/mixed-signal layout.
• Experience in FinFET and GAA is a strong plus.
• Experience with high-speed design (SerDes/RF/etc.) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-custom layout of high-speed analog and mixed-signal blocks in advanced process nodes (<7 nm).
• Develop layout strategies for matching, parasitics, noise, shielding, and signal integrity.
• Partner closely with circuit designers to turn performance requirements into robust physical implementations.
• Review and approve floorplans for analog IP and its integration into top-level designs.
• Develop and establish layout methodologies, flows, and best practices that scale as we grow.
• Own DRC, LVS, and extraction through tape-out.
