Job summary

Bookboost AB is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to own and evolve the platform, from real-time APIs to responsive Angular frontend. You will shape architectural decisions and work with an AI-native stack to drive performance and reliability.

You’ll join a small team with latitude on technical direction, collaborating with design, product and Operations to deliver meaningful customer value. Remote-friendly with hub options in Europe and Sweden.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-stack development with modern frontend and backend tech.
• Strong in Node.js or other JavaScript runtimes and TypeScript.
• Relational databases, PostgreSQL design and query optimisation.
• Fluent English; Swedish not required.
• Experience with edge runtimes like Cloudflare Workers.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, high-performance applications across the stack.
• Develop frontend in Angular with responsive UX.
• Design APIs aligned with the team, focusing on event-driven real-time data.
• Perform edge deployment work using Cloudflare Workers.
• Migrate services to edge runtimes to cut latency and improve scalability.
• Make architectural decisions that outlive ad hoc tickets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product and Operations.
