Job summary

Bookboost is seeking a Data Engineer to design and build the data infrastructure handling hundreds of gigabytes to terabytes of guest data. You will enable the frontend, ML pipelines, and analytics with scalable data flows.

You will own end-to-end data infrastructure design, using the latest technologies in an AI-native stack. Expect ownership, autonomy, and a role that shapes the product’s data foundation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industry experience in data engineering.
• Experience owning production data systems.
• Strong programming and processing skills.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data services and containerised infrastructure.
• Experience with AI tools for coding and pipeline logic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Develop data ingestion, transformation and storage at high scale.
• Create tools on top of data infrastructure for analytics and ML.
• Build data orchestration and streaming pipelines.
• Collaborate with product teams to reuse data resources and patterns.
