Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company based in Sweden, is seeking an Engineering Manager for AI Product Development. This hands-on leadership role focuses on building and scaling AI-enabled products and modern platforms, leading senior engineers, while shaping architecture and delivery in a remote-first environment.

You will drive AI-assisted development practices across frontend, backend, data, cloud, and AI systems, mentor engineers, review designs, and align with product goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with production systems.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering technical outcomes.
• Hands-on AI capabilities integration into products or processes.
• Strong web development experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Design scalable APIs and cloud-native distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of senior software engineers to drive ownership and quality.
• Partner with Product, Design, Operations to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Influence product direction and prioritize meaningful outcomes for users.
• Design and evolve scalable architectures across frontend, backend, data, and cloud systems.
• Drive AI-assisted workflows to improve productivity, testing, and delivery speed.
• Provide technical leadership across distributed teams and code reviews.
• Improve CI/CD, observability, reliability, and security practices.
