Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Site Activation leader to direct operations for a defined region or function. You will develop plans, allocate resources, and align objectives with senior management while driving strategic initiatives across sites.

You will manage staff, measure performance, oversee hiring, budgeting, and execution of Site Activation processes to meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Healthcare or other scientific discipline preferred Req
• 10 years of clinical trials experience including 6 years’ experience in a leadership capacity, a broad understanding of general management practices desirable (e.g. The Oz Principle, The 4 Disciplines of Execution). Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Full knowledge of the drug development process
• Full knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, SOPs, and company’s Corporate Standards
• Knowledge and ability to apply GCP/ICH and applicable regulatory guidelines
• Excellent knowledge of budget management and resourcing
• Considerable working knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and e-mail applications
• Ability to lead and motivate teams
• Ability to independently coordinate and manage new processes

Responsibilities

• Direct Site Activation operations for a defined region or function
• Lead recruitment and retention targets across roles
• Develop implementation plans and ensure alignment with senior management
• Manage staffing, performance appraisals, and professional development
• Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and fiscal actions
• Coach and mentor managers; collaborate with client and site leaders
• Ensure service offerings meet customer expectations and regulatory standards
• Communicate Site Activation offerings to internal and external stakeholders
