JOB DESCRIPTION Regional Payroll Specialist

What can you expect?

Working as part of a friendly and motivated team of 3, you will run a monthly payroll for 750 staff across 2 sites, with varying terms and conditions, including shift pay, overtime and different time banks. Our system for processing payroll is Hogia plus, and for time and attendance we use Tidomat. In addition, we use Workday as our system of record for human resource related activities. Previous experience of these systems would be beneficial but not essential, as full training will be given. This position will report to the Payroll Lead for Sweden, working within a team to perform a quality payroll service to the Department, Company and employees.

What will your responsibilities be?
  • Processing a busy and complex monthly payroll to a high degree of accuracy throughout the payroll lifecycle.
  • Processing new hires, leavers and entering absences including sickness.
  • Running monthly reports and statistics for various internal and external departments.
  • Managing time and attendance data.
  • Communicating with employees in person after the payroll cycle to answer questions about their pay.
  • Ensuring compliance with audits and maintaining confidentiality in all payroll matters.
  • Reviewing and updating policies and procedures regularly.
  • Representing the payroll department within the business and building relationships with other departments.
  • Supporting the wider business in specific payroll projects and initiatives.
