Job summary

Alstom Transport AB in Göteborg – Sävenäs, Sweden, is looking for a full-time Industrial Quality Inspector. You will report to the Northern RS Quality Director and support the inspection and delivery of new trains to the customer, along with quality checks across the fleet.

You will lead customer inspections, maintain the car history book (CHB) and contribute to improvements of the Zero Defect Program, reporting defects and ensuring conformity after rework.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Quality tools and problem-solving tools.
• Knowledge of railway norms/certifications is an asset.
• Fluent English; Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and ensure product compliance (check after rework) according to QC plans.
• Lead customer inspections and maintain CHB (car history book).
• Participate in quality investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Record inspection results in industrial digital tools as required.
