Job summary

Coherent Corp in Sweden seeks a Quality Engineering professional to own and continuously improve our ISO-based QMS. You will lead internal audits, monitor corrective actions, and ensure compliance across R&D and production while supporting teams with quality methods and best practices.

Ideal candidates have a B.Sc. in Quality Engineering and a proven track record with Lean processes, driving improvements, and leading cross-functional initiatives within the Järfälla site and Corporate Quality.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Quality Engineering or equivalent competence.
• Solid experience working with Quality and Management Systems in R&D and/or production.
• Strong interest in quality methods and continuous improvement.
• Experience with Lean processes.
• Ability to lead, influence, and drive corrective actions.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally within the Järfälla site and Corporate Quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve our ISO-based Quality Management System
• Ensure compliance with legal, corporate, and regulatory requirements across the organization
• Lead and plan internal audits that drive meaningful improvements
• Monitor, verify, and follow up on corrective actions
• Own and organise key QMS documentation on our intranet
• Support teams in R&D and production with quality methods, tools, and best practices
• Strengthen our quality culture through proactive collaboration and leadership
