Job summary

Q-Med Uppsala is looking for an experienced Head of Quality to lead and transform their Quality function. This role is crucial in shaping a proactive, patient-focused, and risk-aware quality culture in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the industry, with significant leadership responsibility in Quality and compliance with global regulatory standards.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the Quality Management System, managing quality audits, and leading a high-performing team. Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and excellent stakeholder management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of progressive experience in Quality (QA/QC) with significant leadership responsibility.
• Experience in managing regulated manufacturing environments.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead the site’s Quality strategy and ensure compliance with GMP/cGMP.
• Act as the primary Quality authority during regulatory inspections.
• Oversee and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Drive management of deviations, CAPAs, and customer complaints.
• Build and lead a high-performing Quality organization.
