Are you focused on promoting quality excellence and enhancing methods consistently? We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Falun, Sweden.

In this position as a Quality Engineer, your contributions will be vital in maintaining external and internal quality standards and assisting with customer and supplier quality procedures. You will be part of the local Quality team and report directly to the Quality Manager.

  • Coordinate internal nonconformity analysis and follow up on corrective/preventive actions
  • Validate supplier corrective actions and manage supplier complaints.
  • Handle customer complaints and concession requests as well as secure implementation of corrective action plans
  • Facilitate problem-solving initiatives
  • Collect and analyze quality data and prepare reports
  • Support continuous improvement and coach in quality processes
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and customer visits
  • Issue customer certificates and conduct internal process audits
  • Organize and participate in quality meetings and trainings
  • Promote and represent the quality culture across the site

Balancing Customer Needs and Operational Excellence

We are looking for a person with a solid focus on meeting the needs of both customers and the organization. You demonstrate a strong commitment to developing and supporting standardized working methods and driving continuous improvement. Your ability to collaborate across different levels of the organization contributes to a higher overall quality approach. You also have a great interest in understanding cable technology and enjoy working closely with production as well as other parts of the business.

  • Bachelor's degree in quality, production, or another relevant technical field, or alternatively a technical or electrical high school education combined with equivalent professional experience
  • Experience working with quality tools such as 7QC Tools, PDCA, 8D, DMAIC and FMEA.
  • Proficiency and experience working with MS Office
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, speaking and writing

Occasional international travel may be required.
