Swedish Match in Kungälv, Sweden, is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to support production through quality monitoring, problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will ensure that QC activities are properly set and followed, investigate deviations, define corrective actions, and collaborate with Production, QA and Engineering to resolve issues.

The role requires a technical degree, 2–3 years in quality/manufacturing, and knowledge of quality systems and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Biological, Physical sciences, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in English, written and spoken.
• 2-3 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of quality systems, standards, and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.
• Ability to analyze data and make fact-based recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive working style.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and evaluate product quality against established standards.
• Ensure QC activities are properly set and followed.
• Define corrective actions for deviations.
• Follow lab measuring equipment qualification and validated methods.
• Perform testing and maintain records.
• Create and review procedures, work instructions, methods, and other Quality Documents.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering to resolve issues.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Support audits, compliance and continuous improvement projects.
