Qualifications

  • Experience working in laboratory environments within relevant industries such as Li-ion materials, pharmaceutical, food and paper, or automotive.
  • Experience in developing methods, standards, procedures, and documentation efficiently.
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Control Plan (CP), Lean, and Six Sigma.
  • Knowledge of quality troubleshooting tools and problem-solving methodology.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the development, validation, and execution of the methods used for material analysis across all stages of Research & Development and Production, ensuring strict adherence to Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) principles. The role involves statistical analysis and measurement system analysis (MSA) as well as operational excellence across instrumentation and processes.

  • Responsible for a set of instrumentation or measurement systems: coordinating maintenance and troubleshooting, writing support documentation, training and qualifying personnel, and performing method development and validation.
  • Internalize QA/QC principles in everyday functions of the laboratory.
  • Conduct analysis on a wide range of instruments and report data/results for a diverse set of samples.
  • Execute the Quality Control and testing plan for materials and components.
  • Maintain instruments and measurement areas to a high standard, owning rooms/areas to drive safety topics, ensuring 5S, maintaining consumable inventory, and managing standards/reference samples.
  • Collaborate across R&D technical team, Process Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, IT & automation.
  • Drive operational excellence and investigations by being a key player in problem solving and process improvement exercises.

Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Specific knowledge in relevant instrumentation, measurement systems, or scientific fields used by the company.
  • Proficiency in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and quality management systems such as ISO9001, IATF16949, and Total Quality Management (TQM).
  • Project management skills and a successful track record of leading quality projects in a laboratory environment.
  • Excellent written and oral English skills; basic Swedish and other language skills are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
