We're looking for a Project Verification & Validation Manager to act as the technical link between the solution, development, testing, and implementation teams on a complex systems program. Your core responsibility is structured, traceable verification of systems against defined requirements — making sure nothing moves forward without evidence that it actually meets what was specified. You'll coordinate several verification and testing teams in close interaction with development and system teams, keeping everyone aligned on scope, entry/exit criteria, and findings. This role sits at the intersection of engineering rigor and cross-team coordination, so it suits someone equally comfortable digging into requirements traceability and running the room across multiple teams. It's a great fit for someone who has owned V&V on technically demanding, high-accountability programs before.
The project involves verifying complex technical systems against defined requirements before they move through integration, testing, and implementation. The V&V function serves as the technical bridge between the solution design, development, testing, and system teams, ensuring that verification is structured, independent, and fully traceable back to requirements. Several verification and testing teams work in parallel, and their work needs to stay synchronized with development and system teams as the program progresses. Deviations are analyzed by risk and impact, gaps between systems are identified and closed, and entry/exit criteria are defined and enforced at each stage. The program places strong emphasis on documented evidence — verification plans, verification reports, requirement-system-test traceability matrices, and testing KPIs — reflecting the technical complexity and accountability standards of the systems involved.
