Axis Communications is expanding its R&D office in Stockholm and seeks a Project Manager to drive product development from concept to volume production. You will join the MCP team, coordinating engineers across software, electronics and mechanics, and collaborate with a diverse, skilled staff to deliver value to customers.

You will manage two to three projects simultaneously, refine requirements with the Product Owner, and ensure realistic schedules and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a relevant field.
• Experience leading product development projects involving software, electronics and mechanics.
• Proficient in Swedish and English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

You will be pa r t of the M ultichanne l P r oducts department (MCP), focusi ng on the d evelo pment of in first hand new network v ideo produ cts , but the scope of the projects may broaden as we grow .Who is your future team?The Multichannel Products department is part of the Extended Video Products organization within R&D, and develops new video products from idea to mass production .You will be part of a team of three project managers in Stockholm and h a ve five more colleagues i n L und. In th e projects you will work close with engineers in roles such as software engineer s , electronic engineer s , mechanical engineer s , technical lead s and imaging engineer s . Other crucial members in our product development projects are industrial leads, production test engineers, sourcing engineers and quality engineers.Our goal is to run highly efficient product development projects and deliver top - quality products that strengthen Axis' marke t-leading position.What you'll do here as Project ManagerYou will lead product development projects ranging all the way from idea , through conceptual design, execution phase, industrialization and finally handover to volume production. You have an engineering degree in relevant field .
