Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in the telecommunications industry managing multi-dimensional projects.
• Experience in project execution of facilities, products, and trade branding.
• Further qualifications in contract management or tender processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the implementation cycle of non-technical projects.

To manage the implementation cycle of non-technical projects (e.g., facilities, products, trade branding, and services). In addition, the position is entrusted with ensuring workmanship quality.

Job Title: Project Manager – Mobile money Trade Capex (contract)

Reports to: Senior Manager – Projects Implementation- Facilities & None Capex

Main Job Functions:

• Liaise with contractors regarding current and forthcoming projects
• Project execution process management
• Liaise with project stakeholders in project delivery
• Liaise with different sections/ departments in project execution
• Prepare project plans, Risk assessment and Project requests
• Quality Assurance
• Project handover and acceptance from contractors
• Ensure timely project reporting i.e. weekly, monthly, etc.
• Ensure post project appraisal is conducted
• Manage Project resource management
• Project contractor management
• Ensure handover of all completed Projects to the respective internal customers
• Prepare project timelines with fully interdependence in the project activities
• Ensuring all projects follow customer centricity guidelines
• Properly Manage Project risks
• Properly Manage Project Procurement
• Properly Manage Project Contracts
• Ensure all completed projects are capitalized within the month of completion.

Education

• A degree in Electrical/Telecom Engineering or Construction Management
• Post graduate diploma in project management or recognized certification in project management such as PMP or Prince2.

Work Experience

• 2 years’ experience in Telecommunications industry and direct handling multi-dimensional Projects.
• Facilities and Branding projects
• Project Management experience with exposure in non-technical projects e.g. Facilities, Products, Trade Branding/signages and Services
• Experience in project Execution
• Further qualifications in Contract management, Tender process or Project management
• Ability to drive company cars
