Wequel is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation in the automotive industry. You will lead D365 projects across commercial business units, overseeing delivery from start to finish.

Project Manager – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Implementation – Automotive Industry

WeQuel is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain on behalf of one of our clients — a global leader in the automotive industry. This is a high-impact assignment where you will lead end-to-end D365 implementation across commercial business units, ensuring successful and timely delivery across all phases of the project lifecycle.

The role combines strategic project leadership with hands‑on delivery responsibility. You will serve as the primary IT counterpart to Business Project Managers — coordinating squads of D365 consultants, managing dependencies, and ensuring that technical delivery is aligned with business requirements and the overall program plan.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership:

• Lead IT deliveries into Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O implementation projects across Scania's commercial business units
• Plan and execute implementation activities including configuration, data migration, integrations, hypercare, and handover
• Lead a squad of D365 functional and technical consultants
• Ensure alignment between technical delivery, business requirements, and the overall project plan
• Act as the primary IT counterpart to Business Project Managers and Implementation Managers

Delivery & Coordination:

• Coordinate and follow up on dependencies with Blueprint teams (Solution Design, Development, Integration), banks, localisation packs, and external ISVs (e.g. Comarch, Truvio Exflow, SK Global TAS)
• Document and manage market‑specific configurations and deviations from the standard Blueprint
• Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies to ensure timely and successful project delivery

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience leading end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain (F&O) implementations
• Strong project management and leadership skills, with experience from global cross‑functional teams
• Solid understanding of ERP implementation methodologies and lifecycle phases
• Experience coordinating diverse stakeholders including business, IT, and external vendors
• Knowledge of integrations, data migration strategies, and ERP architecture
• Experience working in complex environments with multiple dependencies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English

Meriting

• Swedish language skills
• Experience from the automotive or heavy vehicle industry
• Familiarity with SAFe or agile delivery frameworks
