Job summary

Barrington James is supporting a fast-growing medtech start-up in Stockholm, developing next‑generation wearable medical devices. We are seeking a Project Manager to take ownership of the full product lifecycle—from concept and prototyping through industrialisation and production ramp‑up.

You will lead cross‑functional teams across hardware, firmware, software, R&D, clinical, quality, regulatory and supply chain, driving production readiness and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Project Management within product development & industrialisation.
• Experience taking a physical product from concept through to mass production.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection moulding, automation and assembly.
• Experience working across hardware and embedded/software environments.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within medical devices; knowledge of ISO 13485/FDA, CAD and Design for Manufacturing is a plus.

I’m currently working on an exciting opportunity with a fast-growing medtech start-up in Stockholm, developing next-generation wearable medical devices and looking to add a Project Manager to their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the technology and wants to have genuine ownership across the full product lifecycle — from early concept and prototyping through to industrialisation, production ramp-up and beyond.

What you’ll be doing:
