Job summary

ABB Sweden is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to own electrical design solutions for automated port systems. You will create plant circuit diagrams, panel layouts, parts lists, and manufacturing documents, working with driveline systems and MV/LV switchgears on global delivery projects.

You will review designs with customers and partners, resolve issues on-site and remotely, and ensure compliance with safety and process standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of electrical design experience.
• Proficiency with EPLAN or Engineering Base.
• English proficiency required; Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical designs including plant circuit diagrams, panel layouts, parts lists and other manufacturing documents.
• Provide technical recommendations throughout the project lifecycle from design to commissioning.
• Participate in technical reviews with customers, partners, and vendors to refine designs.
• Collaborate with engineers across projects and troubleshoot issues remotely and on-site to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Uphold safety and integrity standards and support the broader ABB team.
