Job summary

Beyond Gravity in Gothenburg, Sweden is seeking a Production Planning & Project Coordination professional to act as the primary liaison between projects, customers, suppliers and production. You will ensure efficient execution and on-time delivery for standard part setup, monitor schedules, costs and forecast data.

The role covers order management, inventory and procurement, supplier qualification, risk management, and leadership across disciplines in a highly regulated aerospace environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of aerospace, space, or high-reliability manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP) and production planning processes.
  • Strong project coordination and production planning capabilities.
  • Proven supplier management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and regulated industry requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between projects and production to ensure efficient execution and on-time delivery for project setup of std-planned part.
  • Monitor project-related production schedules, costs, and forecast data, identifying and mitigating risks to delivery performance. Responsible for the master data on standard planned components.
  • Own technical, schedule, and budget responsibilities for assigned activities and coordinate resources across disciplines.
  • Coordinate internal and external services, including material processing, laboratory services, environmental testing, and specialized analyses.
  • Support proposal, quotation, bidding, and concept development activities by providing technical assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and stock management within ERP, including inventory and spare parts administration.
  • Monitor material consumption and initiate procurement of direct and indirect consumable materials.
  • Define procurement specifications
  • Support supplier selection, qualification, evaluation, and technical audits.
  • Lead component selection, qualification, analysis, and verification activities for space and high-reliability applications.
  • Lead obsolescence management activities and establish mitigation strategies to ensure long-term product supportability.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, schedule, cost, and supply chain risks impacting project execution.
  • Serve as a reference expert for system handling
  • Coordinate and prioritize multiple activities while guiding and supporting colleagues across disciplines.

The Production Planning & Components Specialist serves as the primary interface between projects, customers, suppliers, and production operations, ensuring successful execution of manufacturing can be performed with the right components available, while providing expert of set up components. The role combines component setup, order management, supply chain coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives within a highly regulated aerospace environment.

Your mission
Production Planning & Project Coordination
  • Act as the primary liaison between projects and production to ensure efficient execution and on-time delivery for project setup of std-planned part.
