Job summary

KLAR Partners seeks a hands-on software engineer to join the Catalyst Team, driving value creation inside portfolio companies across Northern Europe. You will define the technical foundation: the stack, architecture, and patterns for rapid 4-8 week deployments.

You will ship production software on top of ERP/CRM/field service/invoice systems, focusing on backend APIs, AI integrations, and cloud infrastructure. Regular on-site work across multiple countries is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building and shipping production software.
• Experience at the intersection of AI and business needs.
• Ability to navigate imperfect systems and undocumented APIs.
• Strong Python skills and at least one other backend language.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying production APIs.
• Solid SQL and database design skills.
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems (ERPs, CRMs).

Responsibilities

• Understand workflows inside portfolio companies and ship software to improve them.
• Architect and build APIs and backend services that integrate AI models into business systems.
• Integrate with SAP, Dynamics, Salesforce, and legacy tools.
• Deploy LLM-based applications into production (RAG, agents, copilots).
• Automate end-to-end workflows including document processing and data entry elimination.
• Set up and manage cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and containerisation.
• Turn prototypes into reliable production systems with robust error handling and monitoring.
• Build internal tools and interfaces.
