Job summary

Husqvarna AB seeks a Product Security Officer to strengthen the security of its connected products across global divisions. You will report to the Chief Information Security Officer and drive governance, frameworks and evidence for CRA readiness, collaborating with R&D, product teams and senior leaders.

The role focuses on embedding security throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering secure, trusted products for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with product security for connected products and governance, secure development and regulatory requirements such as CRA.
• Experience in automotive, consumer electronics, home appliances, industrial equipment, IoT or embedded systems environments.
• Experience from R&D, product development or engineering with ability to lead cross-functional teams and translate security needs into practical actions.
• Ability to speak the language of engineers and developers in product development contexts.
• Experience collaborating with R&D and product development organizations and influencing without formal authority.
• Comfort engaging with senior leadership and executive forums to align stakeholders.
• Established governance, frameworks and ways of working that create long-term business value.
• Collaborative and agile mindset that respects autonomous teams and modern ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Set direction, frameworks and follow-up structures to secure connected products across divisions.
• Drive CRA readiness and ensure vulnerability and incident reporting is embedded from the applicable milestones.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, R&D and Product Security Managers to implement governance across the Group.
• Influence stakeholders and shape security into product development with a strong governance backbone.
• Engage with senior leadership to align security with business needs and market expectations.
